Welcome to the University of
Wisconsin Dean's Cup, an annual competition between the students of the
University of Wisconsin Medical Sciences and the University of Wisconsin
Law School. The purpose of the competition is to foster camaraderie
between the two schools and to give back to the community through local
charities. Dean's Cup 2009 marks the fourteenth year of competition.
Dean's Cup events span the spectrum
of competition, from basketball, golf, and ultimate frisbee, to euchre,
video games, and baking. More importantly, the schools compete in two
charitable events: a blood drive through the American Red Cross,
and coin wars. Proceeds from the coin wars, the sale of Dean's Cup
T-shirts, and the sale of Malpractice Ball tickets are donated to charity.
