Mission:
The American Medical Student Association is the largest, independent national medical student organization. Our chapter is actively involved in lobbying for state-level health care legislation and educating ourselves and our community about issues of professionalism, the uninsured, universal health care, domestic violence, and health disparities. Our chapter members have participated in national and international leadership training opportunities. The annual AMSA regional and national conventions are a chance for our chapter members to learn through workshops, network with fellow physicians-in-training, and participate in building a stronger organization!
