Mission:
APSA is an organization that is dedicated to the career development and community building of physician-scientists in training.
The purpose of the APSA Chapter at UW-Madison is:
1) To carry out the national APSA mission.
2) To enhance physician scientist training at UW-Madison by providing a gateway to participate in national physician scientist conferences.
3) To initiate, coordinate, and implement opportunities for UW-Madison physician scientist students at the local, state, and national level.
4) To provide a resource for UW-Madison students pursuing physician scientist training outside a formal training program.
5) To foster interest in a career as a physician scientist by increasing campus awareness through interactions with UW-Madison student organizations oriented towards medicine or research.
