Mission:
Our mission as the local chapter for the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA) at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is to provide UW students with both research and professional exchange opportunities at the international level. Members of UW-IFMSA will be able to participate in the numerous projects coordinated completely by students on an international level through the various Standing Committees. We wish to empower future physicians with a sense of social responsibility - locally and globally. Based on the national and international levels, we are committed to promoting international health awareness among the UW medical students through education, exchange, and activism.
